Our online (www.BasicallyBows.com) return / exchange policy (exchanges are only offered for defective item) is valid for 20 days from the date of your original purchase date. If 20 days have gone by since your online/website purchase we cannot offer a refund or exchange. Return shipping and the 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the final refund amount.
The returned item(s) must be in the possession of Basically Bows & Bowties within 25 days of the original purchase date. All refunds are subject to a 15% restocking fee (excludes defective merchandise) and applicable return shipping fees will be deducted from the final refund amount.
In-Store Pick Up / Local Orders: Orders marked as "In-Store Pickup" or "Local Pickup" at checkout (selected by customer) will be subject to a 15% restocking fee if canceled or returned. Once an email confirmation has been sent stating that the order is ready for pickup, an order may not be canceled. If the order is canceled, a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the final refund amount. Orders not picked up within 14 days of the order being marked as "ready for pickup" will be canceled and a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the final refund amount.
To be eligible for a return for an item purchased online at www.BasicallyBows.com, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, with ALL applicable tags attached. The returned item(s) must be in the possession of Basically Bows & Bowties within 25 days of the original date of purchase. If an item arrives after the 25th calendar day from the original date of purchase, a refund will NOT be given.
Exchanges are only offered for items that are defective.
If you are unhappy with an item you have purchased, purchased an incorrect size or color and want to return it for another size, item or color, we are happy to assist, but it will be treated as a return and applicable shipping charges and restocking fees will apply.
Several types of goods are NOT returnable/NOT exchangeable):
*Holiday / Seasonal items
*Hair Accessories: Hair Bows, Headbands, Clips, etc.
*Special/custom orders, preorder items and presale items.
* Face Masks / Face Coverings
* Gift cards
* Sale items
* Underwear
To initiate your return, we require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) prior to the item being shipped back to us.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
*Any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts, shows wear, has strong odor, etc or for reasons not due to our error.
Refunds
Once your online (www.BasicallyBows.com) return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3-5 business days. A 15% restocking fee and the return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund. Please note that shipping paid on the original order is non-refundable. The returned item(s) must be in the possession of Basically Bows & Bowties within 25 days of the original date of purchase. If an item arrives after the 25th calendar day from the original date of purchase, a refund will NOT be given.
Late or missing refunds
Contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items are FINAL SALE and may not be returned/exchanged.
Only regular priced items may be returned with prior approval within the return window.
Exchanges
We can only offer an exchange for items that are defective upon arrival. If you need to exchange an item due to defectiveness, please email info@BasicallyBows.com to confirm a RMA for the item(s). We will provide a prepaid return mailing label for items that are defective. Prior approval must be granted prior to sending an item back.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a store credit/gift certificate for the value of the items returned. Once the returned item is received, a store credit/gift certificate will be generated within our system and an email will be sent to you.

Prior authorization to return/exchange a product must be granted prior to shipping. Please use a service that provides tracking to ensure delivery to Basically Bows & Bowties.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item (excludes items that are defective). Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the return shipping and the 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your final refund amount. The returned item(s) must be in the possession of Basically Bows & Bowties within 20 days of the original date of purchase. If an item arrives after the 20th calendar day from the original date of purchase, a refund will NOT be given.
