Basically Bows & Bowties is a family owned and operated children's specialty boutique located in the heart of Scottsdale, Arizona near Scottsdale Road and Shea. 

We pride ourselves on offering a curated selection of children's clothing, shoes, accessories and gifts and make it a point to know our customers’ needs and wants before they ever visit our store!

A little about who we are!  Rita Mote founded Basically Bows in 1989, when she handcrafted hair bows to sell at local boutiques and home parties. 

Now, over 30 years later, and with the addition of her daughter & business partner, Kirstin Mote-Banks, they have brought a “one stop children's clothing, shoes and accessories shop” to Scottsdale, AZ!  Although they still do some out of store shows, most days you will see them in the boutique helping their customers find exactly what they need and of course want! Catering to boys Newborn through size 10 (and always adding larger sizes) and girls Newborn to tween. Basically Bows & Bowties boasts the Southwest's LARGEST selection of handcrafted hair bows and hair accessories.
